Vietnam is the easternmost country on the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. The name Vietnam translates as "Southern Viet" (synonymous with the much older term Nam Viet); it was first officially adopted in 1802 by Emperor Gia Long, and was adopted again in 1945 with the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam under Ho Chi Minh. The country is bordered by China to the north, Laos to the northwest, Cambodia to the southwest, and the South China Sea to the east. Unlike the other planets in the solar system that are named after classic deities the Earth’s name comes from the Anglo-Saxon word erda which means ground or soil. The Earth was formed approximately 4.54 billion years ago and is the only known planet to support life.

Dunia sekali lagi berduka akan hilangnya pesawat Boeing 777-200 di kawasan Asia Tenggara Sabtu (8/3) dini hari. Pesawat berpenumpang 239 jiwa termasuk 12 awak tersebut take off dari Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, dan berniat menuju Beijing, Cina. Namun, setelah 2 jam take off, radar Malaysia kehilangan jejak.
